You can settle instantly as long as:

  • It’s only once a day, before 9:30pm (Sydney time)
  • It’s only to a Westpac Business transaction account
  • It’s only for Mastercard®, Visa and eftpos transactions
  • The system is working.

Instant settlement isn’t available:

  • Between 9:30pm and 11:00pm (Sydney time)
  • After 11:00pm (it will be processed the next day)
  • When banking via Corporate Online.

Westpac Presto integrates with over 130 point of sale systems. Check if your system is compatible with the Presto app. Since these are provided by POS providers, not Westpac, we don't guarantee or endorse these products or their related services.

Westpac EFTPOS with Presto accepts Visa, Mastercard®, eftpos and UnionPay. Plus Apple Pay, Google PayTM, Samsung PayTM and Garmin Pay.
If you want to accept American Express® and JCB, you'll need to call 1300 363 614 to enter into a separate merchant agreement with American Express.
